Since 2002, Mr. Tzur is the CEO of AVbiz LLC. AVbiz provides advisory services, business brokering and SWOT analysis to companies, primarily in the Aerospace & Defense arena. Most recently he served as the Executive Chairman of Ultimate Aircraft Composites, of Fort Lauderdale; FL. Ultimate is an advanced composites repair facility, catering to Airlines, the Military and OEM’s. It employs 44 employees. The company was acquired as a turnaround in 2003, and had quadrupled since, and was sold in January 2011.

Prior to founding AVbiz, Mr. Tzur served as the CEO of Avborne Heavy Maintenance, Inc. n/k/a AAR MIAMI (1998-2002). Avborne is the largest provider of aircraft heavy maintenance in southern Florida. Mr. Tzur joined Avborne (formerly Professional Modification Services) in 1993 as its' CFO. At that time, the company had 300 employees and revenues of $23 Million. Mr. Tzur assisted in expanding Avborne into one of the largest third party maintenance providers in the world. In 1996, Mr. Tzur orchestrated the sale of 35% of the company's stock to an ESOP. In 2001, Avborne Heavy Maintenance employed over 700 employees with revenues nearing $60 Million. Mr. Tzur was instrumental in constructing a 226,000 square feet hangar at MIA. Opened in 2000, and financed with $25 Million IDA bonds, the hangar is capable of housing up to 10 narrow-bodied airplanes or 3 B747-400. Mr. Tzur was involved in the formation of Avborne Inc. through the $110,300,000 merger/acquisition of Nortek, Paramount and PMS.

Before joining Professional Modification Services, Mr. Tzur was the General Manager of CBM Industries, a management company overseeing the custodial and maintenance contract at Miami International Airport. Mr. Tzur had a direct responsibility over a 500 strong workforce, and P&L of $15,000,000.

Aviv Tzur is the founding Chairman, and current co-Chair of the Miami Dade Aviation committee. He is a member of the Miami International Aerospace Show 2014 task force. He was the Beacon Council's Treasurer and vice-chairman (2005-6), Chair of Members -investors committee (2007), and sits on the executive committee, investments committee and Finance committee. He is the Vice Chairman and past treasurer of the Florida- Israel Business Forum. Mr. Tzur is a member of Miami International Airport Consumer advocacy group. Mr. Tzur was elected to the Opa Locka Airport development committee, which advised the Miami- Dade board of county commissioners, on the development of this important General Aviation Airport. He also served on the board of Merrill Lynch's client advisory board. Mr. Tzur has received the key of the Miami- Dade County, as well as receiving with Avborne the Aviation Company of the Year award (2000) and the Governor's Industry of the Year award (1998). In addition to representing the Beacon Council in various aviation venues worldwide, Mr. Tzur participated in Governor Jeb Bush trade missions to Canada (2004) and Colombia (2005),Gov. Crist mission to Brazil (2007) and Gov. Rick Scott mission to Israel (2011).

Mr. Tzur holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Hunter College of the City University of New York (Magna Cum Lauda).
